Saginaw, Michigan - Means Propulsion Systems in Saginaw, Michigan, has been awarded Platinum Supplier Status for 2019 in recognition of “Outstanding 2019 On-Time Shipping Performance to General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales.”
Platinum status, GM's top supplier level, is awarded to manufacturers that maintain 100 percent on-time delivery over the course of a year.
“GM’s Platinum Award is a great validation all of the hard work that’s being performed at every level of our organization,” said Jeremy Holt, President of Means. “Our commitment to on-time, zero-defect deliveries to both production and service operations will continue to strengthen the great relationship we have with General Motors.”
Over 30 million clutch systems have been manufactured and shipped from the location since 2000. The “MPS” plant serves as a key engineering hub for Means Industries, and is home to Means Industries’ global corporate headquarters.
